River Ridge residents recently celebrated Halloween with a Hayride through the community. Costumed kids and their parents arrived at the clubhouse to enjoy juice and cookies before enjoying the beautiful weather. A great time was had by all.

In December, we plan to keep the fun going with a "Cookie Swap". Residents are invited to bring their favorite baked holiday treat and the recipe to the clubhouse. We will provide cookies and soda and the residents can mingle and enjoy each other's company while sampling the homemade goodies and exchanging recipes.

We are also planning to go caroling at a local convalescent home. We had a few willing to participate last year and we are hoping for an even better turn out this year. We are still working out details as to which home we will visit, but we will go caroling the 2nd week of December.

And here's something special for the little ones! We are planning an evening of ornament decorating at the clubhouse. We will provide supplies and refreshments while the children provide the imagination! This is a great time for children to make something special for the family tree!
